Codex Pet Update Adds Popup Replies with Voice and Text Input, No Client Needed
xiaohu · x · 2026-09-12
Codex's "pet" feature got an update: you can now reply to specific prompts directly from the pet's popup window without opening the full client interface.
The update supports both voice and text input modes, making day-to-day interactions with the coding agent noticeably lighter by pulling replies out of the main UI.
