Tracking employees' prompts, skills, and how they use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git can generate enough data to fine-tune small open-weight LLMs to do much of the work — something impossible in the past, when firms relied on improving employee satisfaction for productivity. Even if some companies resist on moral grounds, ROI will make the practice the norm, lowering the barrier to crossing ethical lines.
