Kevin Bass alleges Open Philanthropy founders Moskowitz and Karnofsky — who also invested in Anthropic — have spent over $1B funding AI doom narratives, including $312M for 476 publications that influenced Congressional reports. He argues this aims at regulatory capture that would entrench Anthropic and other AI giants behind insurmountable barriers: "AI Doom is Big Business."
