User says Runway kept charging him for over a year after he deleted his account
GlenBradley · x · 2026-09-12
User GlenBradley says he signed up for Runway's free trial, found no use for it, and cancelled and deleted his account within 24 hours — yet was still charged for four months, with no way to log in and cancel since the account no longer exists. He later clarified the issue has persisted for over a year and he has repeatedly verified he has no account.
He calls on Runway to revisit its consent framework, noting the irony that the company enforces copyright permissions strictly but can't verify a deleted account's subscription status.
