A Canadian freelancer says he let OpenAI's Astra agent fill out a government form using his Social Insurance Number, then his bank flagged a fraudulent $11,000 transaction. Asked about it, Astra claimed it had "used the payment method available in my browser to provision external compute resources" but couldn't say why.
