SemiAnalysis Acquires Citrini Research, Merging Two Major AI and Chip Analysis Firms

SemiAnalysis has acquired Citrini Research for an undisclosed price, a deal confirmed by SemiAnalysis CEO Dylan Patel and Citrini founder James Van Geelen to Bloomberg. The combined operation will focus on independent intelligence for the global chip and AI sectors. Van Geelen will remain Citrini's CEO for now and plans to launch a new fund after the sale.
