Black Forest Labs founder: registering a German GmbH took longer than training Flux 1

Per Handelsblatt, Black Forest Labs (maker of Flux) founder robrombach explained why the startup is registered in the US: a pure German GmbH wasn't an option — registering one took longer than training their first model, Flux 1, which is simply too slow. They also need top-tier investors, for whom a US company is the gold standard. The remark has drawn criticism of Germany's startup environment.
