Over 70 UK MPs urge PM to totally ban superintelligent AI development

More than 70 UK MPs and peers have written to Prime Minister Andy Burnham urging a total ban on developing superintelligent AI (ASI), backing a Commons bill to prohibit it.
The author notes UK AI labs are now in serious trouble if such legislation advances.
