Omarchy, Built With AI Agents, Becomes This Dev's Main OS After a 2-Minute Install
mark_k · x · 2026-09-12
The author switched to Omarchy — DHH's Linux distribution — as their main OS, with the install taking under two minutes.
Highlights: the desktop shell is minimal and heavily keyboard-optimized, written in Qt/QtQuick which makes it easy to hack on and extend. The author's favorite part: Omarchy is fully optimized for agentic use and was built with AI agents, making it what they call genuinely AI-native.
