Solo founder launches Workers.io to verify AI agent-written code no one is checking

julianweisser · x · 2026-09-12

A founder who sold his company a decade ago and spent the years since as an engineer is back building Workers.io as a solo founder. His thesis: agents now write software faster than a team of 100 engineers, yet almost nobody is checking the output. As software becomes autonomous, he wants to raise expectations and take responsibility — software has a long half-life, and businesses (sometimes lives) depend on decisions made by agents. The startup aims to make reliable, verifiably correct software accessible.
