New Claude Skill turns drone flyover videos into stunningly accurate Blender home 3D models

Jeffrey Emanuel (doodlestein) released a Claude Code skill, drone-flyover-video-to-home-model-in-blender, that converts a batch of drone videos into editable Blender exterior models so accurate he won't show his own house to avoid doxxing.
Key details:
- Exploits DJI's .srt subtitle sidecar files, which carry GPS coordinates and camera orientation telemetry alongside the mp4s
- The skill auto-installs Blender, the Blender MCP, and any other dependencies
- Uses GPS to look up topographical data; iterative passes keep refining details
Usage: run via the Codex app with Astra at medium effort or higher; more passes yield better results — the author did 40 passes dialing in shrubs. The skill requires a subscription on his Skills.md site to download.
