Billing platform Lago released a CLI auto-generated from its OpenAPI spec: every endpoint is a command, every field a flag, shipped as a single binary for Lago Cloud US/EU and self-hosted. Install via Homebrew or go install; lago init validates the API key before saving config, with shell completions and man pages included. The team's design take: MCP is useful for discovery and investigation, the CLI is better for multi-step workflows, and the right primitive is still the API — both share the same Lago API.
