OpenAI's developer account introduced GPT-Live-1, a real-time speech model that listens while it speaks, allowing callers to interrupt, add details, or change direction mid-conversation instead of following a script.
Yelp is already using it to make AI-driven restaurant reservation calls feel more natural, with an official demo video showing the experience.
