Runway ships Dev MCP so non-developers can integrate its generative media API
tlakomy · x · 2026-09-12
Runway launched Runway Dev MCP, claiming that integrating its generative media API no longer requires a developer. To prove it, the company handed a coding agent plus the MCP to someone on its marketing team who has never written a line of code — and showed what they built. The move signals generative media integration shifting from an engineering task to something non-technical roles can do directly.
