Figure's humanoid data network hits 86,000 weekly uploaders, has paid contributors $15M

Figure founder Brett Adcock announced the company's robotics data platform Index has crossed 86,000 weekly active users uploading data, as Figure builds what it calls the largest and most diverse real-world robotics dataset. A live map on the site shows each data point as it's uploaded worldwide.
Key figures from the Index page: 264K app downloads, 16M video uploads, 108 countries, and $15M paid to contributors. Users can book skilled creators for household chores or record their own daily tasks by the minute for pay; businesses can book labor for logistics, restaurants, factories and offices. Tagline: "Services on demand today, robots on demand soon."
