GPT-6 Astra autonomously flies a drone to find and follow a person, first model to beat humans on Drone-Bench

Andon Labs demonstrated that GPT-6 Astra can autonomously pilot a drone through an office to locate and follow a specific person, prompted simply with "ChatGPT, find this person and follow them." It is the first AI model to beat a human on at least one attempt of each of the 5 Drone-Bench tasks.
Economist Brendan Nyhan amplified the demo with a stark warning: indoor killer drones are coming very soon, militaries and terrorists first, and high-profile targets may be living in bunkers within 5-15 years.
