Employees at OpenAI, Anthropic and Google say AI might soon kill everyone

Following researcher Jacob Coxon's warnings, TheZvi compiled public statements from employees at OpenAI, Anthropic and Google confirming they believe AI might soon cause human extinction. OpenAI's Tomek Korbak, for instance, said neither Anthropic nor OpenAI is on track to solve alignment sufficiently before shipping superintelligence, and that we need to slow down.
