LlamaParse adds high-effort mode with page-level confidence scores and explanations at 5 extra credits/page
llama_index · x · 2026-09-11
LlamaIndex announced an upgrade to confidence scores in LlamaParse with a new high-effort mode:
- Page-level granular confidence scores with text explanations to help developers closely understand document parsing quality
- The system refers back to the original document for an extra check when generating the score
- Opt-in pricing: 5 additional credits per page, so you only pay for high-effort when you need it
Useful for document pipelines where parsing quality matters; lighter modes remain available for routine documents.
