OpenAI brings GPT-Live-1, its realtime voice model, to the API

OpenAI has officially announced that GPT-Live-1 is now available in the API. The realtime voice/multimodal capability previously locked inside ChatGPT can now be built into developer applications directly, enabling low-latency voice agents, live translation, and phone support use cases without third-party workarounds.
