lee_stott · x · 2026-09-11
The latest MCP spec ships a beginner-friendly, stateless redesign: stateless requests, new Mcp-Method and Mcp-Name headers, and first-class extension support. Microsoft's companion open-source curriculum mcp-for-beginners (17.2k stars) teaches MCP fundamentals through cross-language examples in .NET, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Rust and Python, covering security, best practices and hands-on labs.
