NVIDIA's MaskedMimic Now Playable on Miniverse With Sparse Point Control
carlosdponx · x · 2026-09-11
NVIDIA Research's MaskedMimic character animation project (by Chen Tessler et al.) is now live as an interactive demo on Miniverse, implementing the sparse point control modes: switch between draggable root-and-hands, root-only, and VR head-and-hands positional control, with infeasible target poses snapping to coupled reach constraints. The official SMPL checkpoint and ProtoMotions repository are open-sourced under Apache License 2.0.
