DARPA announced its Exponentiating Mathematics (expMath) program aimed at accelerating mathematics research itself. In related news, wellecks gave a talk at The Geometry of Machine Learning 2026 covering recent work on automatically finding, attempting, and recommending resolutions to open mathematical conjectures, with slides publicly available.
