Donorbox monetizes its MCP server, letting AI agents donate on your behalf via Link wallet
jeff_weinstein · x · 2026-09-11
Donorbox has launched a paid MCP server so AI agents can make donations for users. One user prompted his agent to "donate $3 on Donorbox based on what you know about me"; the agent shortlisted charities, picked Hydrating Humanity, and paid via a Link agent wallet with final human approval.
The workflow rides on Stripe's new Directory (public preview), which helps developers and agents find external providers with supported Stripe Apps, MCP, and Link payment paths. An early sign that paid MCP servers, agent wallets, and provider directories are coming together.
