Cambridge safety researcher David Krueger calls for immediate indefinite moratorium on frontier AI

David Krueger, an AI safety researcher with over a decade in the field, argues that regulating AI isn't enough — we need to stop it. Since we don't know how to control frontier AI or verify its safety, he contends any regulation that genuinely makes us safe must amount to an immediate, indefinite, international moratorium on frontier AI development.
