AI town app Townie adds voice chat via OpenAI's GPT-Live — your residents talk while they work
soleio · x · 2026-09-11
TownAI announced that Townie, its AI town app, now integrates OpenAI's new GPT-Live: tap the talk icon anywhere in the app to strike up a voice conversation with your Townie resident like you would with a person — and they keep working while you chat. The team says this is early, with much more voice functionality coming. The update turns spectating autonomous AI town life into talking with it.
