Trail of Bits open-sources trailmix, quantum EC-add circuits beat Google's ECC whitepaper scores

Trail of Bits engineer Joe Doyle built trailmix, an open-source quantum reversible-circuit toolkit released in June. The paper's leading circuits build on it, and its leaderboard submissions pushed scores past Google Quantum AI's ECC whitepaper baselines for secp256k1 point addition (≤1175 logical qubits / ≤2.7M Toffoli, or ≤1425 qubits / ≤2.1M Toffoli). The toolchain ships a reversible-circuit IR, a 64-shot parallel simulator, abstract-interpretation phase-correctness gating, a time-travel debugger, and supports secp256k1, Curve25519, SM2, and Brainpool, plus a native zkpecc simulator compiled into the SP1 zkVM guest.
