Anthropic published its most detailed threat intelligence report to date, covering misuse of Claude:
- Mass extraction: The report claims Alibaba extracted 151M+ Claude exchanges to help train Qwen
- Secret routing: Kimi and DeepSeek allegedly routed some users to Claude without their knowledge
- Weapons group: A weapons group used multiple Claude instances as an engineering team, test-fired a guided rocket, failed, and returned to Claude to debug
The report also covers cyberattacks, influence operations, surveillance, and biology misuse. Anthropic says it disrupted every operation, strengthened safeguards, and shared findings with authorities and other AI companies. The claims against Chinese labs remain unverified independently.
