Crucible: A Transformer-Free Neurosymbolic Stack Pairing Mamba2 with Z3 Verification
JustRoccat · reddit · 2026-09-11
Developer JustRoccat open-sourced Crucible, an experimental transformer-free neurosymbolic stack: Mamba/Mamba2 as the sequence backbone, a Z3-solver loop where the model emits specs, verifies them, and retries on failure, verified patterns stored in a hyperdimensional computing associative memory, JEPA for hidden-space concept prediction, and micro-LoRA for test-time adaptation. The whole pipeline is configured to train within a free Kaggle T4 session. Early prototype; a model trained with it is in progress.
