Perplexity joins the Rust Foundation to improve how agents build with Rust

Perplexity has joined the Rust Foundation. The company says the move is aimed at supporting developers of reliable open-source software and at improving how people and AI agents build with Rust. CEO Arav Srinivas confirmed the news with a crab emoji nod to the Rust mascot.
