Jackyhuang · x · 2026-09-11
Tomo has released a preview of Tomo Voice: users call the same phone number they already text to talk with their Tomo, powered by OpenAI Live.
- Calling is two-way: in rare cases Tomo may call the user first
- The team highlights that Tomo can take real-world actions, leaving a realtime verifiable trail of texts and images
- Voice marks another step for the consumer AI companion toward being a voice-first assistant
