SF/LA Tech Week calendar goes live with 2,300+ events, up over 50% from last year

Andrew Chen announced the SF/LA Tech Week calendar is live: 2,300+ events across two weeks (Oct 5-11), a 50%+ increase from last year. Key numbers: 1,580 events in SF and 762 in LA across 14 tracks (fundraising, deep tech, AI agents, infra, devtools, hackathons, etc.); 883 fundraising/investing events—more than all of LA Tech Week 2024. Over 80 events are hosted by a16z and portfolio companies including deel, stripe, elevenlabs, pinecone, databricks, fal and exa, with spacex, anthropic, google, aws, vercel and cloudflare also attending.
