Tencent Hunyuan released Hy4 preview, a fully open-source model with 770B total / 49B active parameters and a 1M+ token context window — its third major release in six months. The model targets real-world productivity (coding, engineering, office work, science, gaming, finance, security) and was co-designed with real Tencent products like WorkBuddy using in-house data. The poster tested it by pitching a game idea and building it with WorkBuddy's help, finding it already competitive with top-tier open-source models.
