Responding to the Kimi K3 security debate, Xeophon argues that "open-sourcing model X will have severe consequences" panics recur every year with each capability jump — GPT-4, o1, etc. — and never materialize. He says he'd still be right in 12 months, noting the most severe attack described in his blog was recently done with Claude and GPT-4.1, not K3.
