Frontier-lab leavers join policy orgs, but few go into government to design AI rules

A commenter asked whether anyone at a frontier lab has ever tweeted they were resigning over existential risk and then taken a government job designing policies to limit it. The reply: many of these people have instead moved to AI policy organizations, and a funded, impactful US AISI could have recruited them.
