Seedance 2.5 passes the ant-simulation stress test, pulling sci-fi VFX from studio to creator level

Filmmaker DiDiOKK created a short film with Seedance 2.5 premised on the idea that AI will make films more personal — in it, hurting someone turns you into candy, a thought experiment about whether that would make us civilised.
LudovicCreator calls out a microscopic-ant simulation as a real stress test: despite a constantly shifting background, moving light and shadow, and the motion of each ant's tiny legs, the shot maintains remarkable consistency. He argues this points to practical traditional-CG quality in specific sci-fi VFX — stable motion, coherent lighting through changes, convincing complex materials, and surviving multi-shot narrative continuity. The ceiling is no longer purely studio-scale: Seedance 2.5 is pulling sci-fi VFX costs from studio-level production down to creator-level.
