A new paper on Hugging Face proposes a non-invasive brain decoding approach that maps MEG responses to semantic embeddings, reconstructing sentence-level text without word-level alignment. Framed as a "semantic bottleneck," the method shows semantic representations can serve as an information channel for speech decoding without implants.
