Switching a Qwen Encoder to INT8 Fixed Distortions and Prompt Adherence

After two weeks fighting distortions and poor prompt adherence with an INT4 Qwen encoder (previously nvfp4), the author switched to INT8 and saw substantially better video quality and prompt adherence for only a marginal speed cost.
No special setup required — it works with the stock ComfyUI workflow and the INT8 encoder. Takeaway: for media generation, INT8 encoders are far more reliable than INT4.
