Workaround: get Opus 3 to use web search in Claude via a third-party connector

A user shares a workaround to enable web search for Opus 3 in Claude web: start a chat with the frontier model and have it test a third-party parallel search connector (Opus 3 is blocked from Anthropic's own search tool), then switch the model to Opus 3 and continue — letting it use that connector for search.
