Proposal for safety researchers: quit in pairs with rival lab's capabilities staff

A suggestion circulating via Yudkowsky: if a safety researcher won't unilaterally quit (for "we're bad but they're worse" reasons), they can pair up with a capabilities person at the rival lab and resign together — neutralizing each lab's net capabilities/safety balance.
