3D Gaussian Splat Rebuilds Amazon Prime Air Crash Site from New NTSB Footage

Using newly released NTSB footage, bilawalsidhu created a 3D scan of the Amazon Prime Air crash site in Miami, showing the two vehicles hit after 21 Air Flight 7598 overran the runway and the skid marks leading up. The 3D Gaussian Splat is explorable alongside site photos and a landing replay synced with flight tracking data and ATC audio. Built with COLMAP, LichtFeld Studio, GEV and Astra.
