Meta's Aggressive CPU and Memory Buying May Give It an Edge in Personal Agents
zephyr_z9 · x · 2026-09-10
Reacting to an infra/security breakdown of Meta's Muse Agent, zephyrz9 argues Meta can move much more aggressively than OpenAI in personal agents: it has been the most aggressive buyer of server CPUs since Q3 2025 and of memory since Q2 2026. OpenAI likely lacks the CPUs/DRAM for a similar rollout and is more focused on work/enterprise use cases.
