3D Gaussian splat reconstruction of Amazon Prime Air crash site from NTSB footage
bilawalsidhu · x · 2026-09-10
Bilawal Sidhu built an interactive 3D reconstruction of the Amazon Prime Air crash site in Miami using newly released NTSB footage of the 21 Air Flight 7598 runway overrun, showing the two impacted vehicles and skid marks. Made with COLMAP, LichtFeld Studio, GEV and Astra, the site combines the 3D gaussian splat with site photos, flight tracking data and ATC audio so you can replay the approach and crash.
