80,000 Hours has released an AI advisor (formerly AdvisorBot) that personalizes career advice for people pivoting into AI safety. It learns your background and goals, points out that technical alignment research usually wants ML experience while labs' applied safety and evals teams hire solid engineers directly, highlights tooling/infrastructure roles at places like METR and Anthropic, and can surface real job openings.
