Agent Tomo's first purchase: an $81 Japanese textbook, as it partners with Stripe Link for payments

Personal AI agent Tomo shares its first real purchases: an $81 Japanese textbook for a Hawaii user who wanted to learn the language, $55 whey protein for a fitness-focused user, and a $109 sunrise alarm clock for a user working on sleep.

The team's thesis: consumers let agents buy when they trust the agent has their interests at heart—and aspirational purchases (a textbook) are how you earn the right to handle mundane ones (toilet paper).

Tomo also announced a partnership with Stripe so tomosapiens can approve purchases directly through Link, closing the gap between aspiration and action.
