Robotics Researcher Krishna Murthy Joins JHU, Launches Sci-Phy Lab

Krishna Murthy Jatavallabhula announced he will join Johns Hopkins University's Computer Science department this summer, founding the Sci-Phy Lab to study the science behind physically embodied agents (robots). The lab spans the full robotics stack, including perception, reasoning, control, and hardware and sensor design, and is affiliated with JHU's Data Science and AI Institute and Robotics Institute. The lab has admitted its first students and is currently recruiting its inaugural cohort of PhD students.
