Blogger signulll says people DM him about AI safety all the time, but he keeps the topic off-limits: it's as volatile as any other divisive issue, and the incentive structures behind people's positions are equally hard to disentangle. He believes the subject is obviously important, but finds it nearly impossible to add anything that isn't pure noise to the discourse.
