PyTorch Foundation Adds Alibaba Cloud, Cambricon as Platinum Members at Shanghai Gathering

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + OpenInfra Summit + PyTorch Conference China 2026 brought together communities across every layer of the open source AI stack in Shanghai. The PyTorch Foundation announced Alibaba Cloud and Cambricon as Platinum Members and Ant Group as a Gold Member, joining existing members like Huawei.
Sessions covered distributed training, inference and serving, heterogeneous hardware, cloud native infrastructure, accelerator integration, and agents, with participation from the Cloud Native Foundation and OpenInfra communities. The Foundation emphasized that no single project, company, or community builds the AI stack alone.
