Multiple previously unknown OpenAI model codenames — GPT-Live-1-Lava-alpha, Diamond alpha, Platinum alpha, and Pearl alpha — have been spotted in the OpenRouter API, with Marble and Boulder also mentioned as additional sightings. The "Live-1-Lava" naming suggests OpenAI may be preparing voice-related model updates. OpenAI has not officially confirmed any of these models.
