The follow-up interview is the fascinating part: the model explains that the sky is the subject and the hiker is the setting; the faceless silhouette makes it "a place anyone can stand"; the unbroken score carries a single consciousness through change; and 8 seconds is "the remembered shape of the night — flicker, flood, release."
