Per Wired, San Francisco's City Attorney's Office has ordered Meta to stop 'allowing' AI-generated child abuse ads and explain how harmful ads repeatedly ran on Facebook and Instagram.
Meta claims the ads are not under the city's jurisdiction, in the latest local regulatory push on AI content abuse and ad moderation responsibility.
